Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

The hotel was located at a convenient location with decent services. The staff were friendly and assisted when required. I didn't eat at the hotel but preferred trying different food courts around Singapore to broaden my experience. In my next visit I would try using other means of transport apart from taxies. Overall Singapore is the ultimate destination , with so much to do and see. Each day is an experience of its own!

Getting around is easy using Google maps.
Getting around is easy using Google maps. You can walk to most places, transport is also quite affordable especially the MRT. Food is everywhere, but quite cheap at the Hawker Centre's. The shopping is just great with many malls and street markets.

Taxi is a good way of transportation.
Taxi is a good way of transportation.
I would not visit Universal Studios and SEA aquarium anymore.
Compared with e.g. Los Angeles and Orlando they are really not worth the price. Besides that, too many attractions were out of order.

We are Singaporeans on a staycation in our own country.
We are Singaporeans on a staycation in our own country. We have world standard hotels and Sentosa is a must visit for tourists....so as S'poreans, we too wish to experience what tourists experience. And we love staycations and exploring our own backyard.
I had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel 81 Premier Star. The rooms were clean and spotless with crisp bed sheets. Thanks to house keeping staff " LIM YOOK ENG" She is professional, friendly and engaging service. The front office staff specially HAKIM, YUGA, Asst Manager TINESH were attentive and went out of their way to ensure the guests are comfortable. And the hotel have plenty food restaurant options near by. MRT just 8 min walk. Bus stop 2min walk. I would have liked the place and will definitely recommend this hotel.
Nice small hotel with a very good location. Hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. Garry was especially helpful. They were able to give us a nice quiet room on the upper floor, Room was large for Singapore Chinatown standards. Bathroom was exceptionally large and lot of light. Room had windows. Bed was comfortable. Room style was not modern but everything in the room worked fine. I've tried most of the hotels in Chinatown and this one has good value for the price. Front desk staff were great.
We thought this hotel was a great value for the money, compared to other hotels in Singapore. We loved the boutique feel to the hotel. The staff was amazing to our 4 year old. Some of them knew her name and would always talk to her when we were coming or going. It's in a convenient location between a couple MRT stations so we were easily able to get to and from the airport via MRT and anywhere else we wanted to go. It's steps from a Hawker center as well.
No windows. I booked it as I was travelling solo and the price of hotels in Singapore is ridiculous. I was prepared not to expect anything much from Hotel 81, just some dodgy stares from other occupants who seemed high on some substance. I was prepared to hear thumping noises from around but it was unexpectedly quiet, which was good. I know the neighbourhood well as I grew up around there, good for solo self reflecting walks at night.
To be fair: to Singapore standards this hotel is probably OK-ish. Having said that, there are other large, expensive cities in the world.... While they are wonderful top end of the range hotels in SGP, its seems that medium market level hotels are really difficult to find. Clover is probably not ranking too bad compared to the peer group. In order to enjoy, you must be a huge fand of damp / poorly aired rooms and tiny rooms.
Everything. We loved the location especially. Haji Lane and Arab Street are within a few minutes walk of the hotel where you can shop, eat, and take some amazing pictures. The train system and Bugis Junction are at the basement level of the building. There’s also a shopping center that is at the ground level. We loved how you can just step out of the hotel and get immediately immersed in Singapore’s culture.
Everything was great. Absolutely comfortable stay, gem of a location. Close to all attractions especially the riverwalk and nite life. Close to city hall MRT and all public transport. Little pricey but worth it! Rooms facing MBS cost extra but worth it.I would pay little more for reasonable size room, most hotels in Singapore have small rooms.
The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient - near restaurants/cafe, 7/11, and bus stop. Hotel was also clean.
Like most budget hotels in Singapore, the shower and toilet do not have a barrier, so the toilet can easily get wet after a shower. However, feel free to ask for an extra floor towel if needed.
Very helpful staff. I made a mistake with my booking and they sorted it out no problem. It was very close walking distance to the local underground and from there easy access to other locations. Room was clean.
This hotel is very good value for money considering the very high prices of hotels in the Singapore area.
Beautifully appointed room with all the trimmings! Automatic shades, great lighting features, Toto toilet, a bar with ready to go Negroni, Singapore Sling and old fashioned.
Great rooftop pool area and efficient pool service via the hotel app.
Located right near the light show.
Great location close to the Rocher MRT station and Little India. Good value for money (all hotels in Singapore are expensive!) Excellent pool, kept the kids entertained for hours on those hot sticky days. Breakfast was varied and excellent.
Great location, 2-min walk from the exit of metro havelock. Bigger room space compared with other hotels in Singapore. Good distance from other tall buildings in the neighborhood and can enjoy a very nice city night view from the room.
All the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was larger than most other hotels in Singapore (as far as we could find from our search). The bathroom was spacious. The pools were lovely, there is a great kids’ water play area.
This property was perfect for our purpose. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Singapore and was clean and comfortable. The location was very good and was less than a minute walk to the nearest MRT station.
Price is relatively cheaper than typical hotels in Singapore, location is good near Katong area where you can find a lot of good foods, the staffs have been quite kind and helpful too.
